If I want to cancel my step 1 and my 30 days have passed, can I cancel my exam by phone with Prometric?

I'm not exactly sure but not showing up for a scheduled exam might be sent to residency programs when applying? I know that you can call them though and cancel your exam with no penalties whatsoever (residency programs won't know you were even registered for it). Your best bet is to just do that.

Doesn't hurt to call.. only takes 2 mins. But, not showing up = a no show, and you can reschedule within your allocated period.
