do we really have to turn in every transcript?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I didn't try, though I would not recommend it. I took 'every' to mean 'every'. I haven't heard of anyone who got away with it either...I just assumed they have their ways of fishing out the truth and I didn't want my integrity compromised if they found out I omitted anything.

Yep. (and welcome to SDN!!! 🙂 )

actually, i know 2 people who got in this year and they didn't list classes they took at a community college. HOWEVER... these classes weren't for any credit, the classes didn't transfer over to their undergrad school, and they don't show up anywhere on the OT from their undergrad.

it's risky... i would definetly get an OT from a jc b/c those classes counted towards your degree...

I agree. Why try to "get away" with something you know AMCAS has asked for. You could see if you could petition for an exemption if it's on your transcript already. I didn't have to send a transcript for some MIT classes because they were on my undergrad transcript as "real" classes with grades and AMCAS said it was ok. Otherwise, just send it. It really won't hurt you to include them, and you could get burned if you don't....
