Hi guys,
I am a good student with leaning on self study more than expecting to be spoon-fed by my profs, preparing earlier to the relevant lectures and getting in the classroom with question marks in my mind. And I consider to have med education abroad, maybe in one of E-EU countries' English program, or China, though I dont limit myself with these two regions.
But I have a concern: The students take the tests orally; so you are between the lips of profs. Also I observe something worse: The English med programs which aim mainly the international students have lower admission criteria and open to mediocre students as well. At least some of the students (may be more than "some") are sloppy, and so the profs are less concerned with the quality of the students of those English programs. I read many times that the profs dont care about the international program students, especially if they think that they dont deserve that investment. Especially in clinical years this gives harm a lot.
I would like to hear about your experiences. How are your profs?
Thanks a lot..
