If possible, can anyone with admissions experience (LizzyM, Goro, gyngyn, etc.) provide their thoughts regarding secondaries with "(optional) please provide additional comments"?

Is "Why our school?" an option or just a nuisance to read?

I'm not your desired responder, but the question is as simple as it seems. Is there anything you couldn't say in your primary or secondary apps that would be relevant to why you want to be a doctor/should attend their school. Your "passion" or "enthusiasm" should have already been demonstrated in your PS, or various secondary responses, so this is probably not a good use of this space. If you don't have any additional information, then don't provide any.

I think general consensus on the issue is to not use that space as a "Why School X?" prompt. This should be for things like hardships, large fluctuation in grades, etc. Hopefully some other people will comment but that is how I would use it.
