do you have to take a premedicine course in college to be able to go to medical school? i was just wondering b/c i live in Oklahoma and i want to go to OU after i graduate from highschool but they don't offer Premed courses so i was just wondering.

Most university's do not offer strict pre-med courses. You just need to take the required courses for medical schools which include (but are not limited to):

one year of general chemistry
one year of biology
one year of physics
one year of organic chemistry

All with lab. OU should have standard courses for all these that most science and engineering majors will take. Some medical schools have additional course requirements so you should check with the invidivudal schools. Good luck.
