Do you label a class as "honors" only if the word "honors" is part of the title?

On my transcript, only some honors classes I took have the word "honors" as part of the name of the course.
For others, the official title does not state "honors" even though I was in the honors section. In other words, if for a particular course multiple honors and non-honors sections are offered, they all have the same course name without the word "honors".

Can I still list them as "honors" on AADSAS?
If I can't, it really sucks because honors sections are usually harder than regular ones. 🙁

Thanks!

Write exactly what you see on your transcript onto AADSAS. In terms of listing it as honors or not, it's all based on you and if you can be ethically trustworthy lol. Just remember there might be other applicants from your college that took the same class and listed it as regular.

But what if they took non-honors section of the same course? Even though I took honors section, the course title is identical. 🙁

In the spot where it asks you if anything is special about the course, just click honors for those courses. Who cares if it doesn't say honors in the title, if they want to know why you put honors even though the title doesn't have it, they'll ask and you can explain but I bet it's no big deal.

You should absolutely label it honors if its an honors section. If push comes to shove your school can verify for them that it was an honors section, not that adcoms will be going through it like that with a fine tooth comb in the first place.
