What do you consider the difference between review and study? In a class with nothing but notes, I don't really see the difference.
I would go over the study guides and class notes if you can. While you're studying, work on a few homework problems.Since your on the topic of finals. I was wondering to what is the most effective way to study my Gen. Chem. II Cumulative final in two weeks. Our professor keeps our old exams, yet passed back our old quizes. Should I redo all of my Homework, or my old exams study guides & class notes. I guess what I'm asking is what was more effective for you to understanding the concepts. Thanks for you advice in advance🙂
I generally studied for most finals, except where I needed something like a 115% to get an A, but only a 45% to keep a B. In those cases, I just quickly skimmed my notes and spent my time trying to get better grades in other classes.
How the heck do people not study? Right now in physio our class average so far is about a 76 and in molec. bio about a 77. Immuno I would guess to also be in the mid 70s. Do people just not study and take grades like this, or are averages higher at other schools?
I usually like to do very well all semester so when finals roll around I only have to get to C to achieve an A in the class. I actually got exempt from one final today because of it!!! Woot, woot! That means only 4 finals next week!
But I do review all my stuff for finals, don't really study.
