Do you think my SAP appeal will get approved

This person isn't even applying to vet school yet. They are just trying to get into good standing with their undergrad university.....

oooohhhh....

Well same difference. It still applies. Admit your faults. Don't make excuses.

But apparently it's not the OP's fault, its every one else's fault.

I went back through the old thread too. To think I tried to be nice and helpful!

And people probably thought I was being a biznitch when she started this one. I recognized those excuses in 3.2 seconds! 🙄
Like I said in the other thread, I had shiz happen to me that would make your head spin as you **** yourself, but here I am, accepted and ready to got to VET SCHOOL!!!!! 😍 Never used any of it as a single excuse.

Exactly! Sorry, but I couldn't handle hearing it all again. The first time was enough for me.

I am just DYING to know what happened with this case!

If you can't get through undergrad, you've got bigger concerns than worrying about getting into vet school. I've had similar discussions with people online before. They start asking about vet school and how to get in. I assume it's some extremely driven high school student or a college student that isn't fortunate to have a pre-vet advisor and give them the basics. Then much to my surprise I get a barrage of excuses about why undergrad isn't going well or how they're 20 and still haven't gotten a high school diploma, etc. Then I slowly back away...

I know that the veterinary career is glamorous to animal loving people... but dang! It's biology and medicine and you need to like studying those things. There are other careers where you can work with animals.

If undergrad isn't going well, maybe you're not in the right major for you. Makes me think of my friend's brother that likes the idea of being an engineer ($$$) but can't get through the second semester of Freshman calculus to save his life. Sometimes you just need to move on.

Sorry to take my frustration out on this person's post, though. 😛 They're a lot closer to getting in than some of the people I've dealt with.

i see this is an old thread...but i will say that in my exp you cannot request to get off the sap. once you're on it, you're on it. it would probably be better to pay for your own classes for a semester, and raise your GPA so you can qualify for financial aid, or go back to your own college after retaking classes at your local jc and getting the good to go by administration for return.
