Do you think that a History of Science course with a degination CHEM ### would be considered science or chemistry? There was no lab associated with the course.

My understanding is that anything taught by the chemistry department is considered chemistry. I took a technical writing course required by my major in the chem department and I'm pretty sure it was classified as chemistry.
