She’s not wrong but also out of touch.

There are even wealthier people in my neighborhood

These house wives get bored. That’s why they are prone to cheat.

They want their husbands home. But they gotta make the money

Now on the flip side. These rich docs. Some urologist in my neighborhood makes 1.5 million. 3 kids. Our kids in same grades. The wife turns the other cheek cause he’s gotta work “late” most nights.

Dude legit cheating on her. Cause crna I know is the one who’s he’s cheating with. He’s also got side chicks nurse from another hospital.

Women want it all. They want the guy to stay home and give them attention. Or else they will find it somewhere else. And claim lack of emotional connection.

Damn I knew I should have became a surgeon
 
I can be home by 5pm every day. But I ain’t gonna save for retirement, buy a RR, send 2 kids to private school and then college, afford horrible plastic surgery, an expensive home, and other tastes too.

Still dodging these types who won’t be around once you can’t bring the bucks in. Already know 2 surgeons who went on disability and were divorced around the same time. At least kids knew better and stuck with the fathers. Better to have a working wife and a nanny or something.

I usually notice these things because I am very detail oriented. However all I noticed what her fried bleached hair, super dark fake lashes and weird lips. Then I went back and looked some more and then noticed the brows and the overdone nose.

Social media is the end game for humanity. The fact that people click on this garbage and give this person a platform is horrifying. I don't think I could tolerate this person's presence for more than 3 seconds. I'd just walking away shaking my head that society has failed.

To be fair to that guy, that guy is in a way practicing urology with his mistresses and so not entirely lying about working at night

That women who want to marry rich dudes but then complain about them not being home at 5 pm need a reality check. If they wanted a man home at 5 then they would have to get up in the morning and go on to work themselves. Rich dudes spend time working/traveling for work. She’s correct in her assessment.

Same goes for finance dudes. They work and travel a lot. Networking. Yes. A lot of is Bs. They could be home by 5pm.

But I think a lot of times married spouses like “me” time. Some just sit in their office or surgeon’s lounge for an hour just to de compress. Not in rush to get home.

I have see people in my neighborhood in their cars parked in driveway while walking the dog for 30 min. I come back and they are still in their car! Didn’t even go inside their own house yet.

To me honestly, distance doesn’t bother me. Being with someone too much leads to people getting on my nerves. My ideal relationship is one where we don’t have to spend every evening and night together.
Some space is fine. Hence I have zero problems with long distance relationships and doing locums. Too much time apart can get lonely but too much time together can get annoying.
So I get staying in the car for a bit to decompress. But some people have horrible home lives that they suffer through and don’t want to divorce due to a multitude of reasons. And I find that to be dumb. Get out. Life is short. I have hit and am past my expected halfway point and am not gonna suffer in a bad relationship ever again kids or no kids.

I knew of a classmate whose GF only dated him because of his potential to become a doctor/surgeon, of which he admitted himself when drunk! Then when he didn't match guess what happened... I do remember she was hot though

How does he keep it together!? I only have 1 wife and kid and zero time to do anything else, how do these guys keep their stories straight, spend enough time with the extras to keep them happy and not ratting him out??

Doctor to doctor have much lower divorce rates.

But divorces happen. 4 of divorcing couples we hung out with all getting or got divorce in the past 18 months. Just life

But there are gold diggers for sure. They bypass doctors and got for bigger fish. Since I’m in Florida and near the water. The nurses were not joking when they said one of their 30 year friends purposely hangs out in the yatch club area looking for rich guys and she snagged one and got married to him. Guy isn’t even old. 40. So just 10 year age gap. Just wealthy cause he sold his construction business. Probably just wants to settle down. Maybe it works out. Maybe it doesn’t.

Yeah. There is some eye doctor married to the patriots owner. Large age gap but she’s was like in late 40s

The google guy is married. I guess like a warren buffet situation where he didn’t get divorce

She seems to be wasting her time with the google billionaire ex ceo if she wants kids.

Funny the wife and the GF look like they could be mother and daughter.


And it’s nothing new. In the early 1990s I did a derm rotation during internship with a dermatologist who was married to a university president and former congressman. There was a large age gap. She rounded wearing large hats and party dresses. Nice, fun lady.

Wife and I both do outpatient primary care, so not really much worse than any other set of working parents.

That’s a good combo, I work a lot and my wife runs my life essentially. She quit her job after our third child. No nannies, but we’d for sure need a lot of help if she was a full time physician.

I know a handful of two physician families, and one of them is always doing something that's basically a nine to five type job: rads and psych, OB and FM, derm and hospitalist.

If it was two fields that had call or long hours, I could see that being incredibly difficult to manage
