Does anyone else find the AAMCs and TPRHs verbal practice tests easier than EK?

I'm about to give up doing verbal practices tests in EK's 101 because I think it's really sapping my confidence.

My timed range for the verbal AAMC was 10-12 and I also did really well on the Princeton Review verbal passages.

However, on starting EK 101 my range so far has been only 8-9. I just find that the EK verbal questions are sooo much more ambiguous than either AAMC or TPRH questions.

Does anyone else feel (or have felt) the same way?

I haven't been doing so great on the EK passages, maybe that explains why 😀
It could just be the style of asking questions.

EK verbal passages are notoriously hard. If you get 10-12 on AAMC dont be depressed by your EK scores, try to bring them up, you'll probably find your AAMC scores increasing as well. Try and follow the train of thought of the test maker and the passage author, keep practicing and dont let it get you down.
