Hello everyone! I have had some circumstances change in my life and would really like the opportunity to stay in socal. I still have an active application at USC and UCLA. I have a 3.88 overall GPA and 3.94 sGPA. Also, I have a 19/19/22 aa/ts/pat.

I am really keeping my fingers crossed for a chance to interview at USC and would like to know if anyone has any updates for the school?

Are they still giving out interview invites? Has anyone received one lately?
How much of the class is still open?
I submitted in july.
Based on my stats, would it still be possible that they offer an interview being that I have yet to hear from them?

Would it be wrong to send a letter for intent to the school?

Any help would be great.

I did receive an invite on 1/15. The available dates are:
Thursday Feb 4
Thursday Feb 11
Tuesday Feb 16
Thursday Feb 25
Thursday March 11

Looking at your stats, you should be fine. However, what is your DAT breakdown per subject?

Check out Predents.com. Your stats are higher than the USC average. The most important factor they consider is community service, not GPA and DAT scores. I haven't been able to receive admission from them with a 4.0 GPA and 20/23/17 DAT scores.

Looking at your breakdown, you should be fine with both your GPA and DAT. Nothing bad really stands out.

As jol2008 stated, they look at more than just your GPA and DAT. It depends on your EC, LORs, and essay. BTW, you can check your status for USC online. http://dent-web01.usc.edu/admissions/
