Does anyone put down two deposits?

Is it common to put down deposits at more than one school? I am on the University of Washington alternate list and am thinking of all the ways I could hopefully move up the list.

Yes I think some people do. Though I don't know if they would be holding out this late because they would need to start making living arrangements, getting paperwork in, etc. You never know though since some people just can't make decisions.
