I'm curious about financial aid... are Carribean schools accepted by FAFSA? And if they are, what kind of aid should I expect? Mostly loans or are there grants too? Thanks!

I think the "Big 3" Carib are eligible for US Govt. loans.

I believe you have to get alternative loans for SABA.

AUC,Ross and SGU qualify for Stafford loans, Sallie Mae and Medachiever as far as I know.

How much can you get from stafford? There's a set limit per year i think, right?

18,500 per year. Of which 8500 is subsidized, and 10,000 is unsubsidized.

There is an aggregate limit of 138,500 as well (includes ALL staffords grad and undergrad).

AUA also qualifies for Stafford Loans....not part of the big 3, though, is it?

And for good reason. It is neither big nor one of the 3. :meanie:
