The main reason that courses in CC look bad I think is because they are thought to be easy.
In other words, if you took advanced classes in a undergraduate school and did a great job. Courses in CC shouldn't hurt you at all.

That's far too strong. No adcom will be impacted by 4 credits at a CC.

I'm completely joking, you are 100% correct. I did two years at community college myself.
