Does it say on your transcript if you F then P?

I'm especially interested in knowing if your P/F school (if you're attending one) does that. I know of a school that will let you repeat up to 66% of the exams, which is 2 out of 3 of the total number of final exams for the year, and make no mention of it if you pass. not even the dean's letters. hmm

My school claims that if you fail a course and retake the exam successfully when the semester ends, you get a P and no F ever shows up on your transcript or in your dean's letter. I don't know exactly how many times you can do this, but I also know others who have failed exams who didn't even have to retake. Either they moved them through or assigned them a paper or something. It depends on the course and how bad you did I think.

My school has three levels, Pass, Conditional Pass and No Pass. If you need to redo portions, but didn't flat out fail, a "CP" is on your transcript, and when you make up or redo, it changes to "CP/P". If you get a NP and then retake, it also shows up as "CP/P." Both of which look suspicious to a potential interviewer. The only way to get a P is to pass the first time.
