Does post and core always need removal when redo crown and bridge work?

Let's say the Apex is fine under xray. Do we have to remove post and core or leave it if the Apex looks fine. Thanks.

If the tooth doens't need endo re-treatment and the post and core appears solid, then there's no reason to re-do the build up.

Exactly! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! Since if you try and fix it when it's fine, chances are you'll end up wishing you hadn't tried in the 1st place! 😱 Many a root has been fractured while trying to remove an intact post 😱😡

That's great to hear. I was reading from I forgot from somewhere. It states that all post core should be redone. Maybe it was me reading wrong since I tend to stay up late. Thanks.
