Does registering for classes deny addmission from other school wait lists?

Does accepting an acceptance offer and registering for classes preclude one from gaining admission off the wait list at other DO schools?

Ummm... I would believe so. Isn't it getting a teensy late to be choosy? (I know the acceptance doesn't- but the classes, not sure.)

Yea I guess it's getting late in the game to be choosy. However, I'm on the wait list at a school in my hometown which I'm still holding out hope for. Getting in off the wait list would make things a lot easier in regards to family, keeping or selling my condo, other financial considerations, etc. But like you said, it's getting late in the game so I'm moving forward with what I have in my pocket. I just hope that in moving forward with what I do have won't squash any small chance I may still have at getting off the wait list.

No I hear ya...I think we all hold onto that glimmer. I'm sure you've been checking the boards to see if there's been any wait list movement or not. It's just you don't want to be scrambling around for a place, moving, etc, right before school, ya know? I came off ass like, my apologizes. I just meant, only if I were you, to focus on the concrete, bc you may never hear from them, worst case scenario.

Once you matriculate, you're pretty much done for other DO schools, but not MD schools.
