I know a lot of schools say that they only look at the latest score however if you have taken it multiple times does it look bad or lessen your chances at admission?

Totally depends on the institution. They will look at the highest sections out of all the tests taken, take the top 3 or 5, the average of all the test or the latest one you took. You should confirm this will the schools you are going to apply. 👍

ok lets say the school says the only look at the newest test score, would they still frown on having taken the pcat many times or would they see it as persistancy and as a positive?

Just ask an adviser/admissions rep at the school.🙂 Its there job and all the ones I've talked to are very nice and thorough. They'll be able to give you a straight answer for their respective institution and you score just a little bit of name recognition later on when you apply and the same person is looking over your application.

That's a great idea, that way they may know who you are before the actual interview right 👍

From what I've heard, adcoms frown upon 4 or more attempts. If #3 is the charm, good for you... After taking it once I was glad I didn't have to go through that again, so I commend you either way!
