Does RUSH put everyone on hold?

I don't get it...it seems to me that regardless of one's stats, Rush puts all it's applicants on hold? Is anyone else noticing this?
If this isn't true, what does it mean to be placed on hold at RUSH? Just a way of delaying the rejection letter?

Vera, on hold AFTER interview, or on HOLD before interview? In the latter case, it is not a good sign; notification of rejection is sent late March-early April.

I just received an interview invite for 1/23. I was able to arrange through calling the office to ask them to decide on my app. b/c I have another interview in Chicago. I'm not sure this is helpful, but I don't think it can hurt to try to find out from the school directly what exactly a "hold" means.
