Does the Application Assistant only account for MD schools?

Seems kinda hard to believe that I would have a 15% chance of acceptance for an MD school with a 3.1 and a 25

If you are referring to the AAMC data found here: https://forums.studentdoctor.net/th...e-who-applied-with-your-cgpa-and-mcat.888650/, then yes. In fact, it may be over-generous given shifts in the last few years and regional variability.

Hard to believe in what sense? Like should be higher or should be lower?

It also varies by race, e.g. the AAMC table for a white applicant says 8%, Asian 3%

Like it should be lower. Way lower. People on here make it seem like if you have <3.4, you're pretty much done. And if you have <28, you're pretty much done.

I would expect a 15% chance of acceptance if you had a 3.1 and a 30 . Or a 3.8 and a 25. But both a 3.1 AND a 25? Guess being a URM helps a LOT more than I thought.
