I work as a CNA/HHA. Right now I'm working mainly on my HHA certificate, but when I move closer to my school I'll be working on my CNA license. Will this count as clinical experience?

If you are working with patients as a CNA then yes.

Ok thank you. I just wanted to be sure because I don't have any clinical experience. I'm hoping to start volunteering at a Hospital soon but I also wanted to know if my job would count as well

Your job as a clinical experience is more valuable than what a lot of other people list as their clinical experience.

Ok thanks. The most I hear from people is "you'll have great bedside manner" but no one ever mentions clinical experience. Most of the people that I read about on SDN always seem to have EMT as clinical experience so I wasn't quite sure if being a CNA counted for anything. Thanks for the clarification.
