Who knows. I talked to an orthodontist. He was telling me about how he got two interviews for ortho programs. In one interview, they were trying to decide him between him and another candidate. They asked him why he didn't get better undergraduate grades.. He didn't end up getting into that residency.
Moral of the story, I think that undergraduate stuff doesn't really matter, unless maybe some sort of a tie-breaker if they really can't decide between candidates. The good thing about undergraduate research is that it would teach you the process of research, which would help you when you get to d-school.

The more publications you have the better.
