As a general rule, yes. The gross amount so you'll have to pay for those taxes up front too.

I'm not sure for Walgreens. I worked for Rite Aid and the couple people who I know that got bonuses had prorated ones which disbursed at certain milestones.

I had a bonus at a hospital. Had to pay back only a portion of the bonus. They paid the full amount at the beginning of the two years. I was there for three months shy. Just paid back that amount
