my ms1 year, we had pig lab instead of dog lab. they decided to use pigs because of how everyone here is reacting to using dogs. personally, i am a multiple pet owner and had no trouble dealing with a pig. it was a great experience to show how pharmacology really works. unfortunately, our pig was the first living thing that i have operated on and it was the first to die!! it coded right when i was squeezing its vagus to brady the heart down. you guys need to chill out. this pigs/dogs are going to be gassed anyways. at least this way they get general anesthesia and people have a chance to learn from their deaths. mmmmm....bacon!!! 😀
