Indeed, they do.
Also, you're missing out.

Also, you're missing out.
every sea creature i've eaten has grossed me out. all kinds of fish, froglegs (they sort of count), shrimp, kalamari, crab. so it isn't for lack of trying... they're just all icky and fishy tasting. i'll stick to my land animals. plus lobster is too expensive for me to just go and try if i probably won't like it. if i'm ever around anyone who is eating some, i'll try a bit of theirs. but the opportunity has yet to arise.Indeed, they do.

Let's not go down the wrong path here. What is this, eHarmony?
Thread takeaway message: If ladies shower daily in med school and wear something more flattering than sweat pants, they will be coveted by their male peers.
I always thought there was more to it than that 🙄
There are guys everywhere with very low standards. You really don't want one whose sole criterion is what you just outlined.

That's not a blatant stereotype at all, no.Yeah, Japanese girls tend to be pretty narcissistic. Too bad all that work doesn't do a thing for me.
Contacts out of focus, followed by embarrassed realization. On that note- how do you interpret staring from attractive female girls- followed by a smile?
A man who doesn't worry about dressing up and has long, curly sex hair. sounds wonderful. 😛You thought wrong. I'm actually a man.

😕Yeah, if I was XY, I wouldn't date guys with such low standards. There has to be some sort of harsh grading scale...involving numbers..and letter grades...and maybe love.
Unfortunately appbuddy, Rocket Man has been put to the way side for MCAT Guy. SDN relationships need to be taken more seriously than real-life ones afterall.this thread is awesome.
p.s. appbuddy, I'm so glad you're dating a rocket scientist (or, were, til MCATguy came along haha). And I really hope we go to school together, because you're awesome and I wanna be friends.
At first I was likeSee, girls are like cockroaches. You squish one and three more that look just like it show up in five minutes. From my experience, girls who get dressed up for class are all kinds of crazy. Show me a girl who comes to class in sweats but cleans up nice on the weekends AND drinks beer and I will show you a girl worth a roll in the hay.
that's just about my same response when you said something was wrong with me for not liking seafood 😛. more for you indeed. i'll trade you a lobster for some ribs!At first I was like.
And then, I was like 👍.
it's only fair that if you eat all the seafood i could've eaten, that i get all the landfood you could've eaten 😀
You think I wouldn't want the ribs, too? I am a carnivore to the core (hey, that rhymed!).
mm, meat. I was out for my birthday a couple weeks ago and got some deeeelicious short ribs. I'm pretty sure life wouldn't be worth living without beef. and bacon.
Thankies! 😀mm, meat. I was out for my birthday a couple weeks ago and got some deeeelicious short ribs. I'm pretty sure life wouldn't be worth living without beef. and bacon.

Oh and if you long for those "ravishing" girls, ignore them. Plain and simple. Engage and then ignore them. It's like crack to them.
Cata's got an interesting theory... gunning through eye-candy.
If I was going to class at 8AM in undergrad I'd probably be in pajama pants, a v-neck shirt, and sneakers, and my hair would be in a low ponytail and I MAY have had time to slap on some lip gloss and mascara while I waited in line at the drive-thru for my coffee.
I really loathe people like you, men and women alike. Have some self-respect. I have 8am classes. I get up at 6am every day, shower and shave every day, and wear a collared shirt/tie/slacks every day. Who wants to look at a bunch of schmucks in sweat pants?

I'm not talking about looking "hot" or wanting to look at "hot" girls. I'm happily married. I'm talking about dressing like a self-respecting adult who is in public.
I loathe people who go out in public looking like garbage because it is unpleasant to look at them, just like it's unpleasant to smell a dirty person.

Dressing like a self-respecting adult doesn't make you a self-respecting adult any more than wearing a white jacket makes you a doctor. In fact, people who are extremely insecure about something are the ones who tend to lash out against those things the most. So what really bothers you? That they don't dress like "self-respecting adults" or that you might not be fooling everyone into thinking you have self-respect?
Because you're sure not fooling me.

This is why you go to state party schools, folks.
Is your real name Patrick Bateman?

I heard there were some radishes in here?
keep your personal conviction to your damn self.![]()
^I would hope not, but hey, that's just my personal conviction!^
also i want to add that my medical school is chock full of beautiful girls
its almost lowering my self-esteem
you guys are missing the fact that endolas is a non-trad.. likely returned to school after being part of the workforce where professionalism (=dress) is important and denotes respect. it might be old-fashioned but you should get used to the fact that how you dress is looked on by a lot of non-undergrad student folk as a measure of self-respect and respect for ur seniors and your work/school environment. i bet a lot of old school profs and others see the unprofessional dress and manner of many students to be disrespectful. of course thats not true for all especially in undergrad. endolas of course fails to understand that these things dont matter to college students nor do they really make or break you.. he's forgotten what its like (or never knew whats its like) to live on campus and roll out of bed for class and do yourthing for 4 or so years..
on the other hand, its good to dress up sometimes to get in the habit as future docs, or just to show some of your old-fashioned profs that youre serious about school. not to be showing off your body and be eyecatching though
When I returned to university five years ago after working in a business casual office for a decade by then, I actually made a point of dressing down somewhat. The only people I see dressed up on campus are professors/administrators, business majors posing in suits, and the aforementioned "dolled up" women.I have tons of non-trads that are over 40 years old in my classes, and none of them bother to dress up. No offense, but that's not the best possible excuse for him, unless he's pushing 70.
