Question 3738 on usmleworld asked about a patient who is right handed but has broca's aphasia. I know broca's is associated with left side, so I put Nondominant frontal lobe lesion, but the answer was Dominant frontl lobe lesion. Can anyone explain this. I always thought left side was nondominant and right was dominant.

Remember left brain controls right body
Right handed = left side of brain "dominant" meaning speech and calculation etc
Even most left handed folks are left brain dominant , however a person who is right brain dominant is almost certainly going to be left handed if I recall correctly
