Thank you, I received it via email! I was told to confirm by March 6th so I'm assuming they will be sending out interview invitations until then.
I took physiology and got a B. I am in anatomy and ceramics currently.@Kky151 were you done with all your prereqs when you applied, or are you currently finishing up any? What were your grades in A&P if you dont mind me asking. Thank you.
Hi there,I did accept it!
Hi there,Hello all~ I had my interview with morning at Dominican University. I hope that you all did well for those of you that attended! Looking forward to the next big date April 15!
Hi! I am currently a first year MSOT student at Dominican and was in your shoes about a year ago! First off, congrats to everyone who made it to the interview portion! To answer your question regarding interview structure, the interviews are about 45 minutes long and you'll typically be with two other interviewees and two of the Dominican faculty will be asking interview questions. Each candidate gets a chance to answer each question and everyone takes turns who gets asked the question first. As for topics you should prepare yourself for: why you think OT would be a good fit for you, why is Dominican the best choice for you, etc. I know these are broad but they are typical of any OT interview. Just remember to relax and really think about your answers. Even if you're asked the question first, they'll give you a bit of time to think about your answer. The faculty are super nice and understand that interviewing is a nerve-wracking process! Some of the first year students will be there to answer your questions before the interview and hopefully help calm your nerves. I'll be there in the morning on the 21st! Hopefully this helps and good luck!Hi there,
Hopefully you rocked the interview and an OT student at Dominican now! I was just wondering, can you briefly share with me your interview experience there at Dominican? I have an interview on the 21st and not sure what to expect other than it being a group interview. Example how long the entire interview process is? I know it's unethical to ask you the exact questions they asked you during the interview but a general idea of what they might ask would give give me a better idea on how I should prep for it.
Any help or advice would be fantastic and much MUCH appreciated...thank you in advance!
I am in the same boat as you. Already in a gre prep class to retake that and starting more hours. Planning to be submitted and verified by september. Good luck to you next round!Nope. I only applied to 6 schools, Im also a 3rd year, so it was kind of rushed. But I think Ill apply to a lot more schools this coming cycle. If seton hall denies me, then as soon as I find out I'm starting on the application process again, and this time getting in everything in as soon as I can. Applying early is key, at least thats what everyone tells me.
