Hey Everyone,

I am currently an undergraduate psychology major looking for School Psychology PhD programs to begin applying to in the fall. I was wondering if I applied to PhD programs and don't get in, will I automatically be considered for their Masters program or do I have to apply to their Masters program even if I have already applied to the PhD?

Thanks.

Depends on the program. Some of them will have a checkbox on the application asking if you want to be considered for the MA if you get rejected for the PhD.

I applied to two clinical programs that did so- Pacific University and Loyola in Maryland. They sent me a rejection letter with a returnable slip to be considered for the Master's program (no charge).
