Hi all....I just wanted to let those that were looking at St Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ for residency to not waste your time visiting or contemplating residency there...They claim to be a good PM&S 24 month program, but require you to be there for 3 yrs to complete a 2 yr program!!!! They will make false promises to students/potential residents by telling them they really want you at their program, but at the end, they end up screwing people over!!! Also, the attendings will tell you they provide a diverse amount of cases for FF and MF, but you spend most of your time in the wound clinic! In addition, the director, whose name I wont mention here, was placed on probation for 3 yrs on one count of felony information charging him with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. On the new jersey state boards website, it states, "on August 31, 2001, a Final Order of Discipline was filed with the Board which revoked Dr. "" license to practice podiatry in the State of New Jersey."!!!
If you want to look at nasty ulcers and wounds all day in practice, then maybe this is the perfect program for you! If not, dont get trapped into 3 yrs of hell at this program!!!
