I have an MCAT tomorrow and I do not believe I am properly prepared. If I do not show up will medical school be aware of this or will it count as a zero?
you should go anyway and sit for it- you spent the money either way- get the experience of going through the motions and void at the end (or who knows maybe you'll get passages on all your strengths and want it graded!) good luck either way!
It will not count as a zero, however it will count as one of your 3 chances to take the MCAT this year.
I want to take the MCAT before the new one comes out. If I take the MCAT in September and again in January will that count as a new second attempt or a fresh first attempt?
As far as I know it is decided by the calendar year, so I think taking it in January would count as the first attempt for 2015.
This is incorrect. You get three attempts per mcat cycle...not calendar year. The 2014 cycle ends in late january...keep that in mind when taking/scheduling..
