I am interested in pursuing a PharmD, but I'm not interested in handing people there medication behind the counter of Wallmart. I was wondering what other options are there for having a PharmD? Also I have always been a big fan in drug development, and perhaps creating health supplements, will I have to pursue a PHD in pharmaceutics's for that profession? Also, is there any humanitarian work a pharmacist can be involved in?

There are many other options in pharmacy then retail. Probably one of the best pharmacy career guides is:

If you want to go into drug development, I was told that a pharmD is not the degree employers look for in this field, (although it may help). Employers look for a masters degree in chemistry or biochemistry (i think).
