by the way...still no word from drexel today. Again, they said they sent it on friday....its tuesday...

Your mail already came today and there was nothing in it? I'm still waiting for mine...usually comes around 1:30 or 2 pm...I'll let you guys know if there is anything in it besides the usual trash.

Nothing in the mail today. This really blows with the holiday coming up and everything. Is the mail going to get delivered on Friday or does the USPS get that day off as well?

good luck to all of the waiting people...waiting sucks! I think I was happier to get my Penn State wait list than I was just sitting around waiting for the mail to come. At least then you can stop stressing out and wondering about it!

Hey guys/gals

I have an interview coming up the week of Dec 5th. I just wanted to know how cold it is there right now. I looked at the forecast and seems its snowing some or will be. Are people wearing winter coats to the interviews? You see im from hot hot Arizona (although its in the 40's at night here now) so I hope it isnt too bad - 😀. Should I bring a winter coat? Its a lot of extra stuff and would rather not if I dont have to.

It's too cold here in Philly! I'm wearing a sweater and a coat. It's supposed to snow up to an inch before tomorrow. Ugh, I hate winter. But yes, wear a nice warm winter coat when you come. And try to get a relatively early flight in, and a late one out -- give yourself leeway in case of snow, because supposedly this is going to be a bad winter. (Last winter it snowed quite a bit; winter before that not much, but it was excruciatingly cold. So you never know.)

oh im sorry VPD. that really stinks. but at least its not a rejection. 🙄 im wondering if all of us who interviewed early (but were notified late) will be placed on the waitlist. i wouldnt be surprised. Benfolds, did you hear anything?

No they didn't say anything about rank on the waitlist. I've heard that they do in fact rank their waitlist, but that they never actually let the applicant know their rank.

Oh you also have to sign the letter/form they send you and return it to them. You check a box saying you would either like to be placed on the waitlist or decline a position on the waitlist.

ummm...i disliked my interview with dr. domesek. you and i were one of the lucky few that got him as an interviewer. He only does like 3 a week. Luckily, I got in.

I interviewed at NYMC on 10/18 I believe. I hear they won't tell me until around X-mas.

I also have an interview next week at SUNY Downstate which I am hoping I will enjoy and rock out...

they're cool w/ you calling and asking for a status update...for asking for a decision, they will just tell you if one has been made or not (as it seems from others). i plan to do my best to leak the info out, but i doubt it'll work...just gotta try the patented CP suave...whatever that means

i emailed drexel on sunday for a status check on my application, which i sent in months ago. i haven't heard anything at all from them. anyone else wait this long for a response? should i just call the office and try to get someone on the phone?

i would try and call...i had sent them an email, they wrote back a few weeks later (last week) and told me that they had mailed me an interview invite in mid-september, which i never got...i have to wait till mar 29 to interview now

holy cow! March 29? Are they booked all the way up through March? What about people like me who are on hold? (I emailed them this week and was told I was on hold) Why don't they just reject me already if they will not have interview spots left?!
