Dropped classes due to scheduling conflict with interviews, does this hurt me?

Due to a very packed interview schedule I had to drop a semester of classes that did not include and pre reqs or courses I needed to graduate. I did not withdraw but rather dropped them within a week of class starting. On my unofficial transcript it says "fall semester 2009, cancelled"

I sent an update to Carver about this and now I am worried about how they might take it.

It also came up at one of my interviews at another school and the interviewer seemed displeased.

Did I sink my chances at Carver? Thoughts?
