Dropping a Community College Course

Hello! I am in a tough pickle this semester. Originally, I was told that I could take a community college chemistry course to waive a requirement required in my university. However, now I was told (by my advisor) that policy in my school changed such that it would not transfer over because I am taking it in the fall rather than the Summer. Now I am wondering if it is even worth it to complete the course considering that it just adds a further strain to my schedule and transportation issues. Should I drop the course even if it appears as a W on my community college transcript?

So it would help to know who told you these things. You should find out the process to appeal this (meaning up to your dean of students or your department chair).
