Hey everyone,
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I have a question regarding my situation with my double major in music and biochemistry. This past summer, I did an international study on music and healing, and have ever since found myself interested in international health and the social, cultural, and political issues surrounding developing nations. With my current plan, I have to take only music and chemistry courses next year, and will not have any room to take other courses on developing nations that I think I should be taking (I want to move into international health policy). So, I am thinking of biochemistry to free up more space. Does anyone by any chance know if medical schools would think any differently of me if I was just a music major (instead of also a science major or vice versa)? I want to do what interests me but I want to make sure that I'm not making myself a less competitive applicant by not taking the few courses I have left in the chemistry major. If anyone can please help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
