Dual Loop Diuretic Tx?

i'm on rotations now, and i was sitting in on rounds. there was a pt with CHF (i believe).. anyways, my preceptor says there is a time when u can use furosemide and bumetanide together. when i heard this i was like wtf? so i asked her again, and she said "yes, you can use them together". i tried running a pubmed search, a google search, but my search skills are pretty bad.

does anyone know when you can use them together, and WHY? they are both loop diuretics.. when would you use dual loop diuretic therapy?
