i was able to leave at 400, and catch a 545 flight with PLENTY of time. (in fact, i had enough time to chat it up with mack brown in RDU before we caught our flight back to austin.)
id recommend that you stay the millenium hotel in durham. i was able to get a room there for $40ish off priceline, which is not bad, but the clincher is the free shuttle service. (back and forth from RDU airport, back and forth from the medical center)

It depends on when you last interview is. I had the last possible interview, and I think I finished at like 4:30 or something like that. I remember I caught a 5:15 shuttle to the airport. If you schedule an early flight, then just tell the Admissions Office so they can give you the early interview slots.
I loved Duke 😍 I'm expecting a rejection, but I still loved it. The people are nice, I like how the curriculum is set up, and the lecture hall is probably the nicest I have seen. The only thing I didn't like is that there are no dorms. But living in Durham is really cheap, so I guess it's not that big of a deal. Also, people seem to receive really awesome financial aid packages.

Did anyone get stuck doing a regional interview?
I finished that crazy long secondary at the very last minute, and they had run out of on-campus interviews by the time I got the invite. The admissions office assured me that they wouldn't count this against my application, but how could it not hurt a little? How can they accept someone who hasn't even been to the school?
Anyone else have this happen?

Well, their website says that y'all actually have a higher acceptance rate... So regional interviews seem to be a good thing.
