There were interviewees in the admissions office today, so my guess is that interviews do, in fact, go until tomorrow. Word in admissions is that letters will go out "next week... the 7th". Which probably means they'll start mailing them on the 7th - last year the acceptances went out first, followed by rejections and waitlists.

No I haven't. There's a lot of info online if you're applying next year, or if you already applied and are waiting to hear back you could call the admissions office and ask if they know when you should expect to hear something.

I thought about applying to the Duke-NUS but realized that as of now NUS is the granter of the degree (Duke doesn't offer it jointly, yet) and you have a SEVEN year bond to work in singapore after you graduate.

student interviewer... not student. plus it sounds like the girl is obviously friends with that person so the person probably just saw the name and was like "wow" rather than carrying around the list showing ppl.... i wish i had friends 🙁

shoooooooooooooot. i know i would be. hell, i ran around my apartment when i got an interview invite. i can't even begin to imagine what might happen if i get a call from my parents saying that there is an envelope from duke addressed to the future dr. femalescantdriv. i will freak out. i hope i dont go nuts and just spike my cell phone onto the ground and start doing a touchdown dance or something (i have been known to touchdown dance at time). man... im gonna stop talking about this... im just trying to prepare for having to wait until may 15th. god... im freakin out right now. ok im gonna stop.

Congrats to your sis! just wondering, are you yourself premed or in medical school now? I always find it kind of strange when people who are not in the medical school process at all post on sdn..just curious..

Thanks. Big manila envelope, no post mark date (just a barcoded strip), but letter was dated 3/2. I guess most of you should receive it Monday or Tuesday. I'm obviously really excited. Duke is my top choice (and first acceptance). I'm so happy! I'm off to go celebrate. Good luck everybody.
