Like everyone else, I check SDN, AADSAS and email multiple times a day but as time goes by I'm starting to get the feeling that my application is dead for this cycle. My stats aren't great 3.3 gpa/3.2 sci and 20ts/19aa/20pat and my extra curriculars/LOR are basically what everyone else has...(research, tutoring, volunteering etc).

What do you think, I e-submitted on June 1 and my printout was mailed June 30. My app at usc, uop, boston, temple, vcu are all still 'received/being reviewed', so with zero interviews now, should I just retake the DAT and update my application? Take more classes? Prepare for next cycle?

It'd be nice to hear from people who've applied in previous cycles and have been in a similar situation.

i've got similar scores....no invites this year or last year...i've continued to take course work and pump out more A's.

same here, overall gpa 3.45, sci 3.4 with 19/19/19 on the DATs. E-submitted on Jun 10th. No interviews yet, i'm getting really worried now

Some schools are slower than others, call them to make sure they have everything if needed.

My stats are similar to yours (lower GPA, higher DATs), and I have only 1 interview at Michigan so far. Michigan has everyone send in a supplemental essay and I'm a good writer, so that's probably the only reason I even got that interview

Here's how I look at it, all of the schools right now are interviewing 4.0's PLUS high DATs, but there are only a few hundred of those types of applicants compared to a few thousand seats at all the schools. Even if those applicants are getting all the interviews right now, they can only accept one seat at one school. So, everyone else will get theirs...eventually

I hope that calms you down. If the calender rolls to 2009 and you still haven't gotten interviews, then I would start to worry

you also did not apply to very many schools. not saying this is good or bad. it's prob just that noneof your 5 schools are very far into the application process. be patient and i would think about adding some more schools to AADSAS if you want to take some action on this. good luck

And not just any turtles, REALLY SLOW turtles.

Nova gave out their interviews really fast, I would imagine that if you sent them an application now, that you would find out if you got an interview or not pretty quickly. Same is the case for Case.

my stats are pretty similar....I have 3 interviews already...don't worry be patient....there is still tons of time! Good Luck!
