Hi, guys:

I got the official news that the earlist interview in BU was on Thursday, Oct. 20 . Maybe the second is on Thursday, Oct 27. I also was told but not confirmed that whoever got earlier interview would have a little bit more chance of being accepted.

If you already gotten invitation for interview on Oct 20, could you please reply this thread here? So we can estimate how many people would go that day.

there are already 2 threads ....bu interview and interview at bu...active side by side in this forum,,,u should be able to get info from those.

For those who have not got interview call yet, don't be too anxious. They just began arranging interview and they said even some applicant's Toefl &/or Part I score had not come yet. I don't believe ETS will not sent Toefl score to them, maybe something mix up.

One suggestion:

For those who have not submitted application package, REMEMBER put copies of your TOEFL and NBDE score report in it. In case the ETS or ADA have not sent your score to the admission office, they can use your report to consider your application. Of course, the final decision must be made based on official reports.

I read a paragraph on BU website "You must submit translated and evaluated versions of your dental school diploma and transcript. The transcript must be in English and in the American grading system (A as 4.0 scale). The translated transcript needs to be a course-by-course evaluation with a grade point average (GPA). Credential evaluations will only be accepted from Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ECE),".

My question: is ECE course-by-course evaluation sufficient for the demand of this paragraph? Or, besides ECE evaluation, do we need to submit other staff such as translated diploma and transcripts? Thank you

Besides ECE course-by-course report, you have to submit the notarized copies of your dental school diploma and certified English translation.

But they only look at your ECE report and GPA on it.

how do u find out if ur applcn is complete?ive tried calling a lot of times & every time they say...tht i shd wait for their mail or reply???will they consider me 4 interview even if they havent received all the documents?

that is a good suggestion...but too late for me. now i just hope that they got all my score reports.

even i had the same reply from bu when i called to check if my application is complete. they said if its not they will send me a mail... 🙁

Hi, Surmad,

If they said they would send mail to you reminding you about incomplete materials, I think they will keep their promise.

Also, if you want, you can sent them the student copy of your score just in case. The worst result is they throw it away.
