Earliest exam date for expected 2018 med school entry?

Hello,
If I plan on entering medical school in the year I graduate in the spring (2018), when is the earliest that I can take the MCAT so that adcomms would still accept the score? I was thinking September 2016.

You'd have up till May of 2017 to take your MCAT to have your application turned in relatively 'early'
