Early Decision verification

So i looked at old threads and there didn't really seem to be any answers to this. If you apply early decision or early assurance does your application get verified faster? Because I just submitted yesterday and at this rate it seems like it will be a while before I am verified

I applied EDP and my application was verified within a day of them having received my final transcript. Not sure if EDP was the reason though.

More than likely this was the reason, especially if you did not apply on the first day and had everything ready.

Can we change our application to become EDP after we submit?

edit: Just read that if you do EDP, you can't apply to other schools before you get rejected/accepted. Nevermind

I was verified within 5 minutes after submission. Now I know why mine was so fast -- edp.
