In addition to getting your hands on a copy of MSAR...I think the question you should be asking is:

which med school will it be easiest for YOU to get into?

Difficulty of getting into a medical isn't just a function of the med school, but, more significantly, its a function of the applicant as well. Its all about finding a mutual fit.

Its impossible to correlate how highly a med school is ranked to how competitive it is to get into. Some med schools reject "high numbers" applicants...while others accept "low numbers" applicants, with no bearing on rank. Its all relative to the applicant.

Amen. there's a lot of factors that go into it. everyone looks for the easiest school to get into... it's natural. gluck

haha... i don't think there is such a question as easiest med school.

too many variables and such to determine that... it's like asking who has the best chocolate ice cream flavor, matter of opinion and bias.

Generally, Osteopathic (DO) schools are easier to get into than Allopathic (MD). I suggest purchasing an MSAR as well as the premium online addition of US News rankings for graduate schools. (usnews.com, click on graduate schools). Dont base things on the rankings, but rather use the average MCAT/GPA/admission rates to base application decisions, along with descriptions of school curriculums.

If you are from the right state, it could be your state medical school.

thanks guys for the help.

and CyberTammy, why so cruel w/ ur remarks?

seriously getting into medical school is tough...it applies to all such schools. If you are from certain southern states, you have a better chance of getting in those state med schools with slightly lower stats.
