I registered a really easy A microbiology class this morning. But I'm afraid that it’s too easy that it will harm the future PCAT, because some students suggest that we don’t even need the text book and we can easily get A with the teacher’s note book which we can find in the school bookstore.
Any advice is welcome. thanks

We didn't have to use a book in our class either but our class was HARD. At the end of the quarter, I had about an inch thick of powerpoint notes to study from. All the professor's notes were mostly words with some pics. It was like reading a dictionary!

take the easy class. Micro is micro no matter how you look at it. As for the pcat, never took it so I can't comment on it.

The schools you're applying to don't know it's an easy one. Basket weaving is an easy class. Micro is generally not an "easy A" class so don't tell them it is!

I was under the impression that not all schools require micro as a prereq, so I suppose it may not even be on the PCAT? (never took it tho so not sure).
