Even if you have a firm grasp on reading ABGs, figuring out whether or not the compensation is sufficient van be tricky. There are many different formulas to calculate how high bicarbonate should be compared to pCO2, and vice versa, but does anyone have easy or quick ways to assess the compensation without having to run through all the formulas? Thank you!
