I guess it's that time of the year... I have tried to read up on other posts regarding EC's, but couldn't quite find my answers.

Basically I worked full-time(50+) hours during my freshman/soph/junior years, got more serious worked 25-30 hours during senior year and 15-25 during my post bacc..... then quit to study for the MCAT....as far as filling out paid work ..... i've had various jobs that span that time period, which all are not related to medicine. Do I list contact information for the last job or the longest lasting job?... obviously in my description I am going to in detail describe the jobs and that sort of stuff, I am just confused on the actually entry.

Also, as far as publications and poster presentations, do you just cite the poster and what conference it was presented at? Should you also provide a a mini abstract of the project?

And, does anyone have any example of descriptions they filled out. Should it be more systematic or reflective?

Admissions committees aren't going to track down all your old supervisors. If you're going to lump your work into one entry (which is fine) just list the most recent contact info.

You'll hear people say to just include bullet point descriptions. Others will say to be more narrative. You definitely don't need to write mini essays about how wonderful every experience was, but you can include more than a sentence fragment if it makes you feel better (I did).

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
