I understand that programs require IMG's to be ECFMG certified before we can begin PGY-1. However, do any programs require ECFMG certification to apply to their programs? Just needed a clarification.

Some programs do require ECFMG certification to apply. The RRC only requires that you have the certificate to start residency. Programs can make up their own rules. However, there is no central list of these programs and you have to ask on a case by case basis.
