Hi all, I am planning on taking the DAT test in late May. Does anyone know who much benefit taking an "Introduction to Ecology and Evolution" course would do me? Or should I just stick to Kaplan review books for ecology & evolution. The only exposure I have had so far to the topics are from my general biology classes.

If I add the ecology class to my schedule I would have to drop an endocrinology class that I wanted to take plus a lot of hassle arranging other classes so I would prefer not to if its not going to be a huge benefit.

Thanks in advanced!

Take the endocrinology class. Endo is more helpful on your dat as well as in dental school curriculum. Ecology and Evolution part of dat was easy. You don't really need to know depth of detail in ecology.

Keep the Endo class. I took Endo this past semester and it was super interesting plus some of Endo comes up on the DAT.

Just use Cliffs for ecology and you should be fine.

The ecology on the DAT is very surface level stuff.

keep endo. Gen Bio and Study books should be enough for the ecology section.
