I'm in a class right now (literally!) that involves a lot of volunteering, and things of that nature. Do ADCOMS care if you did x amount of hours reading to children, if it was required in a class?

I took a class where we dissected cadavers and we were required to do additional dissecting outside of class time and my adviser had me put that as an EC so I would say go for it!

I took a service learning course and put that experience in my EC section

I'm taking a clinic internship class with a volunteer component and will be including that as an EC.

It isn't really extracurriculur if it is apart of your curriculum. Doing something that is required for a course doesn't really count, but you can definitely still list it and say that it was a part of XYZ course.

I don't see the harm in putting it in. The class is essentially providing you some structure and directing your attention to a cause, but you're still doing some service to the community.

Research for credit is fine so you can list this too.
